Holistic women's health care
Our women's health service is designed around what matters to you at each stage of life. We provide cervical screening and HPV testing, the full range of contraceptive options, menopause and HRT consultations, pre-conception and fertility panels, clinical breast examination, and detailed hormonal blood panels covering thyroid, ovarian, adrenal and pituitary function.
All initial consultations are 30 minutes - longer than a typical GP appointment, because women's health issues need time. Follow-ups can be 15 minutes. Female GPs are available on request. We can arrange most investigations in-house and refer to specialist services when needed, with a clear written plan following every appointment.
Cervical screening is available to women aged 25 to 65. In line with NHS guidelines, we offer primary HPV testing every three years for women aged 25 to 49 and every five years for women aged 50 to 65. Our lead GP, Dr Jane Woyka, is a nationally accredited Menopause Specialist (British Menopause Society and Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health) and works within the Clinical Research and Menopause Unit at Northwick Park Hospital. She undertakes around 600 menopause consultations per year at the practice and teaches on the BMS-accredited Advanced Certificate in Menopause Care.
