What to expect at HHCC
HHCC is a private GP practice based inside the Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow. Unlike an NHS practice, there's no registration list or waiting period - you book an appointment and we see you, often the same day. Our GPs take time with every patient: your first consultation is typically 15-30 minutes, giving us space to understand you as a whole person, not just a presenting complaint.
We are a private, self-pay practice and do not bill insurers directly. Private GP care generally works on a pay-as-you-go basis, although some insurers (depending on the policy) may cover private appointments and tests - we provide a fully itemised invoice so you can claim the cost back from your insurer yourself. The one exception is our NATO and US military patients covered by ISOS/TRICARE, who register in advance and, once pre-authorised, are billed directly to ISOS/TRICARE.
From blood tests to specialist referrals, prescriptions to health screens, most things can be arranged without ever leaving the Clementine Churchill site. We aim to make private healthcare genuinely convenient, not just clinically excellent.
